Lain Pty Ltd is seeking a practical, hands-on Furniture Maker / Timber Assembler to join our close-knit team in Rowville. This is trade-focused work for someone who's genuinely positive with their hands and takes pride in getting the details right.

You'll be building and finishing commercial furniture that ends up in shopping centres, food courts and retail precincts across Australia. Our products are seen up close by the public every day, so quality and precision matter on every job.

What you'll be doing

- Cutting and machining timber to spec
- Coating and finishing timber to a high standard
- Final assembly of joinery
- Assembling furniture items, components and custom joinery
- Reading and working from job specs and drawings
- Unloading containers, preparing and dispatching deliveries
- Keeping a clean, organised and safe workshop
- Working with the team to find better ways of making and assembling

What we're looking for

- Experience in furniture assembly or joinery is preferred




- Confident with workshop tools and able to work independently
- Excellent attention to detail, non-negotiable, our work is seen up close by the public
- Ability to read specs and follow instructions accurately
- Current driver's licence (essential)
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Strong hand-eye coordination and physical stamina
- Reliable, safety-conscious team player who pulls in the same direction
