Occupational Therapist ( Full-time or part-time available)

We are seeking a qualified OccupationalTherapist to join us here at our busy privateAllied Health practice,based here in beautifulHervey Bay.

We seek a motivated, confident and cooperative individual, who takes pride in their work, whilst fostering a fun and cohesive working setting.

Our caseload is extremely varied as we cover many areas including

- Hand Therapy
- Paediatric Assessments and Therapy
- Neurological rehab
- Home modifications and assessments
- Functional needs assessments
- Fine and gross motor skills
- Hydrotherapy

Our team consists of both Senior and Graduate Physiotherapistsan experienced Podiatrist, Diploma qualifiedRemedial Massage Therapists, Allied Health Assistants and qualified Personal Trainers. All of whom are supported by our friendly and experienced Administration Officers. Our work environment is supportive,with a large focus on team cohesion and professional development support. Our focus on delivering the best possible care and treatment outcomes to our patients is unwavering. Inshort we have an excellent Clinic,with a fantastic team in a great location!

The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:

- Bachelor degree - Occupational Therapy & current AHPRA registration




- Minimum of 1-year Occupational Therapy experience (highly desirable however a motivated New Graduate with the confidence and capacity to learn new skills is also highly desirable.)
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with regards to delivering excellent client care
- Previous experience with comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments, equipment prescription, home modifications, ADL assessments, program planning and treatment (highly desirable)
- Previous exposure to the NDIS scheme and/or paediatrics (highly desirable however not manditory). A confident and capable New Graduate with the willingness to learn and develop these competencies is also desirable. )
- Candidates must have a current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or be eligible to obtain.
