What You Will Get to Do:
- Incident response for production hosted environments
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance to ensure stability and availability.
- Respond to and resolve production incidents quickly, performing root cause analysis where necessary.
- Execute deployments and configuration changes in production and non-production environments following change management processes.
- Communicate effectively with development, operations,
and business teams to provide updates and coordinate resolutions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, fixes, and operational procedures while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Interpret business requirements, technical designs, and flow charts to build, maintain, and enhance software applications.
- Develop and modify application code, ensuring quality, performance, and security best practices are met.
- Translate business functional models into technical specifications, including cyber security considerations.
- Test applications and produce technical documentation to support ongoing development and maintenance
What You Will Bring:
- IT degree, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years’ experience working in an Application Support role
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices and methods
- Working knowledge of SDLC principles and methodologies
- Experience working with ITIL based processes
- Understanding of hosting production environments on AWS and Virtual Environments
- Advanced knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery build pipelines
- Experience working with infrastructure as code
- A passion for automating manual processes
