Blend Public Relations is growing and is searching for a PR Account Executive to join our small team of wine and drinks-focused PR pros at our Surry Hills office (NSW).

About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Account Executive to join our team. Reporting to the Account Director, you will be executing PR campaigns to deliver exceptional results for our drinks clients, while building relationships with top-tier media and influencers.
If you are good at staying organised under pressure, have a knack for writing a great email pitch, and are looking to accelerate your PR career, all the while growing your skills as part of a highly respected agency team in the drinks industry, we want to hear from you.
In this fast-paced role, no two days are the same. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Media Relations: Creating compelling media assets, including media releases and tailored email pitches, as well as briefing photographers or videographers for PR-worthy assets.
- Media & Influencer Scoping: Researching, identifying, and scoping out the best media targets, tastemakers, industry leaders, and influencers to collaborate with our brands.
- Event & Guestlist Management: Building strategic target lists, managing guestlists, and handling end-to-end RSVP management for exclusive brand events and launches.
- Pitching: Sending out tailored and well-written product, event and news pitches to secure engaging coverage for our clients.
- Sample Deliveries: Ideating, creating, pitching, and coordinating the seamless delivery of product samples and PR packages to key media and influencers.
- Account Support: Working closely with the Account Director to manage timelines, meet deadlines, and juggle deliverables across multiple clients simultaneously.
About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- A relevant degree (PR, Journalism, Marketing, or Communications) OR at least 1 year of hands-on PR or communications experience.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and in person, and the ability to form strong relationships with the clients, journalists and suppliers you will work with.
- The ability to stay organised and positive while working across multiple projects at pace.
- Intermediate Google Workspace or Microsoft Office skills.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done, whether that’s drafting a pitch or packing a creative mailer.
- An interest in drinks and hospitality.
- You must have full working rights in Australia.
- Be available to work full time.
