Role Description This part-time, remote QA Analyst / Software QA Tester role at Wonen, Zorg en Innovatie | Den Haag focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions that support housing, care, and innovation services. The QA professional will design, execute, and maintain manual test cases based on functional and technical requirements, documenting results clearly and accurately.

Daily tasks include reviewing specifications, identifying defects, performing regression and functional tests, and collaborating with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to resolve issues. The role also involves contributing to test plans, tracking defects through completion, and recommending improvements to processes, tools, and standards. The QA Analyst / Software QA Tester is expected to work independently, communicate clearly in virtual settings, and consistently uphold quality assurance and quality control practices.

Qualifications

- Robust analytical skills to interpret requirements, identify edge cases, and assess risk.




- Proficiency in quality assurance and quality control practices to ensure consistent, reliable software delivery.
- Experience with manual testing and designing, executing, and maintaining test cases.
- Ability to document defects, test results, and recommendations in a clear, structured manner.
- Familiarity with test management and issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail or similar).
- Understanding of basic software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Effective remote communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail, organized work style, and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Relevant education or equivalent experience in software testing, IT, or a related field.
- Experience in public sector, healthcare, housing, or innovation-focused projects is an advantage.
