The Company

This established NSW construction company delivers projects across commercial construction, medium-density residential, government infrastructure, remedial construction, civil works, heritage restoration, waterproofing and asset upgrades.

Working with government agencies, councils, developers, strata and private clients, they have built an excellent reputation for delivering quality projects through collaboration, innovation and strong client relationships.

With ambitious growth plans and a strong pipeline of work, they are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to lead the estimating function and play a key role in securing profitable projects across multiple sectors.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Directors and working closely with the Bid Manager, you will be responsible for preparing accurate, commercially competitive and profitable tenders from concept through to contract award.

Projects include commercial buildings,



medium-density developments, remedial construction, government infrastructure, civil works, heritage restoration, stormwater infrastructure and public asset upgrades.

Responsibilities include

- Preparing detailed estimates, BOQs and cost plans
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
- Managing subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Reviewing scope coverage and identifying value engineering opportunities
- Risk identification and commercial analysis
- Developing procurement strategies
- Supporting tender interviews and project handovers

This is a highly influential role where your commercial judgement and pricing expertise will directly contribute to the continued success of the business. The Person To be considered for this position you will require:

- Minimum 5 years' estimating or Quantity Surveying experience
- Experience across commercial, remedial, civil or government construction
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery
- Excellent commercial and analytical skills
- Experience preparing BOQs, cost plans and tender submissions
- Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related qualifications
- Stable employment history
- Reliable references
