OSHC Educator (Permanent Part-Time) | Homebush West Are you an experienced educator who enjoys creating meaningful experiences for children and being part of a supportive team? We are seeking a passionate OSHC Educator to join our service in Homebush West on a permanent part-time basis, working 5 days per week across morning and afternoon shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator with 2-3 years of experience working with school-aged children who is looking to contribute to a high-quality program while developing their leadership skills.

We are seeking someone who holds a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or a related qualification, with a Diploma qualification highly regarded. Previous experience in a leadership role or acting as a Responsible Person will be viewed favourably.

About The Role As an OSHC Educator, you will support the delivery of engaging before and after school care programs that promote children's wellbeing, learning, and development. You'll work closely with children, families, and colleagues to create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where every child feels valued and supported. Our programs include a variety of experiences designed to keep children active, creative, and engaged, including arts and crafts, sports programs, group games, STEM activities, and opportunities for creative expression and social development.

5 days per week

Morning and afternoon shifts

Based in Homebush West Key Responsibilities Supervise and engage with children aged 5-12 years in before and after school care programs





Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, sports, creative play, and recreational programs

Deliver engaging experiences that encourage learning, creativity, physical activity, and social development

Create a secure, inclusive, and positive environment for all children

Build strong relationships with children, families, school staff, and team members

Support children with diverse needs and backgrounds

Assist with daily routines, meal supervision, and program delivery

Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with service requirements

Follow all policies, procedures, and child safety practices

Support the day-to-day operation of the service and act as the Responsible Person when required

Contribute to a positive team culture and provide guidance to less experienced educators where appropriate About You Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, Education Support, or a related qualification

Diploma qualification highly desirable

Minimum 2-3 years' experience working with school-aged children, ideally within an OSHC setting

Previous leadership experience, such as Lead Educator, Responsible Person, Room Leader, or similar, is highly regarded





Experience planning and delivering engaging arts, crafts, sports, or recreational activities

Strong understanding of child development and quality educational programming

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Ability to work collaboratively while confidently taking initiative when required

Current Working With Children Check

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
