Little Rascals Childcare Centre is seeking an experienced Diploma Educator to join our passionate and dedicated team . As a Diploma Educator, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education ensuring a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports children's development.
What you'll be doing
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational programs and activities that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
- Work flexibly across different age groups as needed to support the centre's operations
- Observe and document children's progress, interests, and developmental needs to individualise your approach
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and the broader community
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming learning environment that meets all regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the team to continuously improve practices and contribute to the Centre's quality improvement
- Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
What we're looking for
- Hold a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years' experience working as an Educator in a childcare setting
- Thorough understanding of child development,
and the National Quality Standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management certifications
- Current Working with Children Check
- Someone with the drive to succeed and move forward with their career
