POSITION SUMMARY - As an Diploma Room Leader, you are expected to actively contribute to a collaborative team that delivers high-quality early childhood education and care. You will support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing through consistent, responsive, and qualified practice. At all times, the safety, wellbeing, and best interests of children must be your highest priority and underpin all decisions, interactions, and practices.

This includes: Developing strong, respectful, and responsive relationships with children at the service, ensuring they feel protected, supported, and valued; Building and maintaining positive partnerships with families that support each child’s wellbeing, development, and inclusion; Implementing and consistently upholding the organisation’s policies, procedures, and practices, particularly those relating to child safety, supervision, and duty of care; Working collaboratively with other staff to promote a culture of continuous improvement across all areas of the service’s operations, with a focus on enhancing outcomes for children. Demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and effective communication in all aspects of your role.
