About the Role

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a Quality Assistant (Operations) to join our growing team at Inline Cosmetic Laboratories. In this role, you will help enforce and monitor our quality system requirements across the manufacturing floor. Reporting to the Quality Manager, your responsibilities will include materials and finished product reconciliation, line inspections, incident reporting, and supporting ongoing improvements in quality processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect and approve incoming packaging materials, ensuring compliance with lab standards and specifications.
- Support production by issuing accurate and timely manufacturing instructions.
- Conduct line clearances and in-process checks to maintain compliance and assist staff in maintaining line control.
- Perform timely reconciliation of finished products and packaging materials.
- Investigate and report quality deviations and non-conformances to drive continuous improvement.




- Calibrate scales and other monitoring equipment to maintain compliance.
- Manage retention samples and standards for finished goods, packaging, and raw materials.
- Assist the Operations and Quality Managers with training of manufacturing staff to enhance GMP competency.
- Promote a safe and compliant work environment by adhering to company procedures, policies, and WHS standards.

About You

- Experience in a manufacturing or operations role, ideally supporting both production and warehousing.
- Sound understanding of quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC), and Positive Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Strong attention to detail with a practical, logical approach to problem-solving.
- Proactive, well-organised, and motivated.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external partners.
