Reporting to the Head of Legal, Risk & Compliance, you will play a key part in maintaining and enhancing Honda Australia's Global Honda Quality Systems (GHQS) framework, helping ensure our operations continue to meet global quality standards while supporting a culture of compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll coordinate quality audits, monitor corrective actions, support governance and risk activities, and contribute to initiatives that strengthen business performance and operational excellence.
You will also take ownership of managing Honda's global quality system, founded on the ISO 9001 Quality Management System framework. This includes oversight of the organisation's Facility Quality Standards (F-QS) program, ensuring quality audits are effectively planned, conducted and monitored to support compliance, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Profile description
How you'll make an impact
- Administer and improve quality management framework, ensuring adherence to global quality standards, effective governance of F-QS, and accurate management of quality system documentation
- Coordinate and support the delivery of quality audit program, including audit planning, execution, reporting, and corrective action management
- Coordinate quality governance activities, including committee administration, stakeholder engagement, and reporting, ensuring alignment with global quality standards
- Coordinate quality training and auditor capability programs, including QMS training delivery, auditor development, training administration etc
- Maintain and enhance quality system processes, documentation and governance controls
- Support risk, governance and compliance activities through reporting, monitoring, policy reviews, and improvement initiatives
What you'll bring to Honda
- Prior experience in quality management, audit, compliance, risk, or governance
- ISO 9001 knowledge, with Lead Auditor qualification or experience highly regarded
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis
- Poven experience in audit assurance, policy & standards management, policy and governance writing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset
