SAP Warranty (Full-time/ Fixed term Contract)

HCLTech Australia & New Zealand is seeking an experienced SAP Warranty Management / QM Consultant to join our Managed Services team. You will be responsible for supporting and enhancing SAP S/4HANA solutions with a focus on Quality Management, Warranty Management, Defect Processing, and Claims Management.

Required Technical Skills & Experience

Core SAP Expertise

- Minimum 6+ years of SAP functional support and configuration experience.

- Robust hands-on experience in:

- SAP Warranty Management

- SAP Quality Management (QM)

- Defect Processing

- Claims Management

- Quality Notifications

- Inspection Planning and Results Recording

- Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes

SAP S/4HANA Experience

- Demonstrated experience working within SAP S/4HANA environments.

- Strong understanding of:

- S/4HANA data model

- Business Partner architecture

- Fiori applications

- Embedded analytics and reporting

Automotive Industry Knowledge

- Experience supporting automotive manufacturers, distributors, dealerships, or heavy equipment organizations.

- Understanding of:

- Vehicle warranty processes

- Service campaigns and recalls

- Defect tracking

- Supplier quality management

- Dealer claim processing

Integration Experience

- Strong knowledge of integration with:

- SAP VMS

- SAP SD

- SAP MM

- SAP PM/EAM (desirable)

- SAP EWM (desirable)

Technical Skills

- Advanced ABAP debugging capabilities.

- Knowledge of:

- User Exits

- BAdIs

- Enhancements

- BAPIs

- IDocs

- CDS Views

- OData Services

- Ability to independently analyze custom developments and technical defects.

Preferred Qualifications





- SAP Certification in one or more of the following:

- SAP S/4HANA

- SAP Quality Management (QM)

- SAP Sales & Distribution (SD)

- SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)

- Experience working in managed services or AMS support environments.

- Exposure to ITIL-based service management frameworks.

- Experience supporting global delivery or offshore operating models.

Soft Skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing experience.

- Ability to work independently in complex support environments.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proven experience working with distributed global teams and executive stakeholders.
