About the Opportunity

We are seeking professionals with hands-on expertise in radiation detection, measurement, and dosimetry products and practices in Oil & Gas and Mining operations. This consulting role involves sharing your expertise on instruments, measurement methodologies, purchasing decisions, and operational challenges—or with potential to inform—how radiation detection and dosimetry solutions can be improved. Your insights will help us understand current practices, identify user needs, and explore opportunities for better products and services.

This is a adaptable consulting engagement that can be completed alongside full-time employment.

Relevant Experience

- Operating or maintaining radiation detection and dosimetry equipment in Oil & Gas or Mining operations.
- Using survey meters, contamination meters, active/occupational dosimeters, or environmental monitoring systems.
- Understanding radiation safety protocols, measurement practices, and regulatory requirements in Oil & Gas or Mining sectors.
- Evaluating or selecting radiation detection and dosimetry products and services.
- Collaborating with safety teams, compliance, and operations on radiation monitoring and worker protection.
- Knowledge of purchasing decisions, vendor relationships, and product performance requirements.
- Familiarity with Oil & Gas or Mining operational environments and safety standards.

Qualifications

- Advanced experience or degree in Health Physics, Nuclear Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in radiation safety, dosimetry operations, or radiation monitoring in Oil & Gas or Mining sectors.
- Hands-on experience with radiation detection and dosimetry products highly valued.
