Join Our Small Team as a Casual Support Worker!

Support Team Member Required for a client with ASD and Related Psychosocial Disabilities

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate support workers to provide personalised care to a clinet based in Bribie Island.

Mon - Friday 12:30PM - 4:30PM (20 Hrs weekly)

Possibility of additional hours if required

Key Responsibilities:

- Pick up client from school daily
- Assist client with activities of daily living (Cooking, tidying, and self-care routine)
- Assist participant with engaging in community, social, and recreational activities.
- Monitor and assess client progress and maintain accurate and up-to-date care notes in accordance with organisational standards.
- Prepare basic meals.
- Where needed, assist with personal hygiene (showering/bathing routine only).
- Assist participants displaying complex behaviours by following their specific Positive Behaviour Support Plan.

To succeed in this role,



the following is required:

- Drivers Licence and fully insured vehicle
- Experience supporting individuals with complex behaviours.
- Experience supporting individuals with psychosocial disabilities.
- Solid written and verbal communication, and record keeping skills.
- Australian Driver's License.
- First Aid Certificate (or willing to aquire)
- CPR certification (or willing to aquire)
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (Yellow Card).
- Reliable smartphone
- Confident and direct communicator
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
