Are you passionate about levelling the playing field for buyers? Would you like to be a part of life-changing milestones for clients?
Due to rapid growth, Wallace Advocates is looking to expand the team! Please note that this is NOT a sales role; it is a role within a Buyer's Advocacy business. We are hiring for a Buyer's Advocate with a geographical focus within the inner South-East area.
About Us:
We're a passionate team of Buyers Advocates who love what we do – helping people find their next home.
We live and breathe property (so our friends tell us) and know the Melbourne market like the back of our hands. Our clients trust us to be on their side every step of the way and turn to us as a trusted solution to their home-buying journey.
With business growing, we're on the lookout for another sharp, driven, and personable Buyer's Advocate to join our team. If you love property, thrive on building relationships, and know how to negotiate a deal – keep reading.
About You:
You have a current real estate license (full license preferred but Agent's Representative is acceptable)
You love property – you get a buzz from inspecting homes, talking market trends, and matching people with places.
You're a natural with people – great at building relationships and trusted by those around you.
Robust negotiation skills and calm under pressure (auctions don't scare you).
Understand that the role of Buyer's Advocate isn't 9-5pm and treat this as a career, not a job.
You're organised, proactive, and happy managing your own day.
A driver's license and car (you'll be out and about a lot!).
Role Responsibilities:
Getting to know your clients – understanding their brief, needs, and non-negotiables (yes, the dog must have a backyard).
Hitting the pavement (and online) hunting down both on- and off-market properties that fit the brief.
Inspecting homes, completing video walk-throughs and shortlisting the winners.
Building strong relationships with agents to access the properties before they hit the market,
Crunching the numbers – providing research and comparable sales so your clients feel confident.
Bidding at auction or negotiating pre- or post-auction to secure the deal.
Managing the process right through to settlement – always keeping your client's best interests at heart
This role is NOT an entry level role, this is for an individual who has experience in the industry. You may be a BDM, Property Manager, Sales Associate, Buyer's Agent within a sales office or even currently working as a Buyer's Advocate. Whilst training will be provided, the successful candidate will need to hold a strong baseline level of knowledge about residential real estate and the process of buying.
