Maddington Hyundai & Isuzu UTE is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Assistant Service Manager to support our busy and growing Service Department.
About the Role
Working closely with the Service Manager, you will help lead a high-performing team while ensuring our customers receive an exceptional service experience from booking through to vehicle collection.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day management of the Service Department
- Support and mentor Service Advisors and workshop staff
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
- Monitor workflow and workshop efficiency to maximise productivity
- Ensure service processes comply with manufacturer standards
- Assist in achieving departmental targets for customer satisfaction, sales, and profitability
- Coordinate scheduling, bookings, and vehicle handovers
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a dealership service environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Proven commitment to exceptional customer service
- Sound understanding of automotive service operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
- Experience with dealer management systems will be highly regarded
