About the role

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Mechanic / Electrician – Caravan Air Conditioning to join the Caravan Air Conditioning Services team in Caloundra, QLD. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work with specialised caravan air conditioning systems whilst utilising both your refrigeration and electrical expertise. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, repairing and maintaining air conditioning and refrigeration systems specific to the caravan industry.

This position is integral to our operations, as you will be delivering high-quality climate control solutions to our valued customers and contributing to the reputation and success of Caravan Air Conditioning Services.

What you'll be doing

- Installing caravan air conditioning systems with precision, ensuring all components are properly fitted and sealed
- Performing routine servicing and maintenance on refrigeration and air conditioning units to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in existing systems using diagnostic tools and testing equipment
- Repairing or replacing faulty components including compressors, condensers, evaporators and electrical wiring
- Testing refrigerant levels and pressures, and performing regas operations where required
- Providing technical advice to customers regarding system operation and maintenance
- Maintaining detailed records of work completed and parts used
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and environmental guidelines, particularly regarding refrigerant handling

What we're looking for

- A relevant qualification in refrigeration, air conditioning.
- Valid electrical qualifications or demonstrated electrical competency in air conditioning systems
- Proven experience in refrigeration and air conditioning installation, repair and maintenance




- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and testing tools used in the refrigeration industry
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to customer locations
