About the role The Regional Manager carries overarching responsibility for both the high-quality operational and clinical delivery of services within the Mid-West region.

Key responsibilities include:

- Ensure sustainable, client focussed quality services are delivered to meet the needs of young people and communities
- Foster and nurture key strategic relationships with mental health services, youth services, and other local agencies
- Lead operations whilst maintaining accreditation, service standards and satisfaction levels
- Foster an engaging team culture, aligned with organisational values, ensuring all team members feel supported in carrying out their duties and to develop team capability
- Oversee the management of the operations team budget and authorise budgeted expenditure in line with delegated authority
- Analyse and report on program data ensuring relevant funding and accreditation requirements are met
- With support from Human Resources, manage recruitment, development, employee relations and other people management requirements

About the practice

We are a for-purpose organisation that creates brighter futures for young people in WA by offering a range of no-cost mental health services. Established in 1994, we deliver innovative and accessible mental health services and programs across WA to help young people aged 12 to 25. A key component of this is our role as the lead agency for five headspace Centres including our dynamic headspace Geraldton team. Experience and qualifications required

- Five years senior experience working within the mental health care or non-government sector




- Demonstrated experience managing and leading diverse teams in multiple locations
- Experience managing multiple funding contracts and required reporting requirements
- Experience building and leveraging diverse stakeholder relationships
- Significant clinical knowledge, skills and experience working with young people and families within the region
- Demonstrated knowledge of Aboriginal culture and issues impacting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people and their families
- Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy or equivalent and relevant registration with an appropriate professional body
- 'C' Class Driver's Licence, access to a reliable vehicle, with willingness to travel across the region when needed
