Montier Health is seeking an experienced Regional Practice Manager to oversee our expanding network of general and specialist medical practices across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
This hands-on role involves direct responsibility for practice operations, team leadership, patient services and the establishment and growth of new healthcare services.

The Opportunity
This varied role combines multi-site operations, people leadership, financial oversight, compliance and practice development. You will work directly with Administration, Reception and Nursing Team Leaders, Clinical Leads, General Practitioners, specialists and practice employees to ensure each location operates effectively and provides an excellent patient and clinician experience.
This is a highly visible and hands-on leadership role. You will maintain a regular presence across our practices, working alongside teams, resolving operational issues and providing additional support during busy periods, employee leave or changing business needs.
Key responsibilities include
- Overseeing the daily operations and performance of general and specialist practices.
- Leading, supporting and developing Administration, Reception and Nursing Team Leaders and their teams.
- Coordinating workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, rosters, leave and employee performance.
- Supporting teams with day-to-day operational issues and service delivery.
- Monitoring billing, revenue, expenditure, debtors, staffing and practice capacity.
- Improving appointment, referral, billing, recall and patient communication processes.
- Strengthening systems, technology and operational workflows.
- Supporting accreditation, audits, risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Monitoring patient feedback and coordinating service improvements.
- Building positive relationships with clinicians, referrers and healthcare partners.
- Supporting clinician onboarding, new services, referral growth and practice expansion.
- Providing reception and administrative assistance when required to maintain service delivery.
Working alongside Clinical Leads, you will support operational compliance and quality improvement. Clinical governance and clinical decision-making remain the responsibility of Clinical Leads and individual healthcare practitioners. Regular travel between Brisbane and Gold Coast locations is required.
About You
You are an approachable, organised and solutions-focused healthcare leader who is comfortable working alongside teams and becoming directly involved when support is needed.
You will ideally bring
- Experience as a Regional Practice Manager, Practice Manager or healthcare operations leader.
- Experience overseeing multiple practices, locations or multidisciplinary teams.
- A robust understanding of general or specialist private practice operations.
- Knowledge of Medicare, private billing and medical administration.
- Experience in team leadership, recruitment, workforce planning and performance management.
- Sound financial, reporting, reconciliation and debtor-management skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare accreditation, privacy, risk and workplace health and safety.
- Experience implementing new systems and improving workflows.
- Strong communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities across multiple locations.
- Confidence using practice management software, Microsoft 365 and digital systems.
- A practical approach and willingness to assist wherever required.
- A current Australian driver’s licence.
A relevant qualification in Practice Management, Health Administration or Business is desirable. Experience across both general and specialist practices is essenital.
