About the role

An exciting opportunity, has become available in the outstanding Level 4 Maternity service in Orange Health Service, birthing 1100 babies a year. Orange Women’s and Infants Unit offers a broad range of maternity services including, antenatal care, GP shared care, private Obstetrics, Midwifery Group Practice, Community Midwifery Program. Childbirth education classes are offered as well as having a high-risk obstetric clinic and visiting foetal maternal specialist for complex pregnancies. The service is a referral site from our maternity services in Parkes, Forbes,



Cowra and Condobolin.

You will be part of a high functioning, low turnover, young, vibrant and collegial team who are very supportive of each other. With a focus on service quality, and well recognised by senior management, this unit receives consistently valuable results from accreditation.

Your role will be well supported by a Clinical Midwife Specialist Team Leader, and with close support from our district’s Clinical Midwife Educator and Clinical Midwife Consultants.
