About the Client:

Our client is a leading civil construction and engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure, urban development and resource sector projects. Their expertise includes bulk earthworks, road and transport infrastructure, rail, water and utilities, aviation and mining.

What You Will Be Doing:

Working Monday – Friday with 6:30am starts, you will be working with a well know civil company! You will embark on a 1 to 3 year journey to become a qualified pipelayer, all while earning Certificate III in civil construction (Pipe Laying)

Day to Day duties:

- Assist with site preparation, setup, and general clean-up
- Support the civil crew with their day to day duties
- Shovel, rake, spread,



and compact gravel
- Assisting with the installation of stormwater, sewer, water, and drainage pipes
- Helping prepare and clean trenches before pipe installation
- Assisting with the installation of pits, manholes, and drainage structures
- Using hand tools and power tools safely

What You Will Need

- Driver’s Licence + reliable transport
- Construction White Cad
- Confined space ticket
- Reliable, be a quick learner and wanting a career in the civil industry
- Strong commitment to safety and can follow directions
- Able to travel to future job sites including the Sunshine Coast
