The Registered Nurse is an integral part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team providing nursing care to our local Eugowra community. Eugowra Multi Purpose Service core business is Aged Care. We have 15 beds, 12 of these beds are for permanent residents with the remaining used for Respite Care and Palliative Care. We have a Walk in Health centre where we can assess and treat minor illnesses and injuries. If higher level of care is needed,
we refer on so they receive the right care at the right place the first time. We are seeking a Registered Nurse that demonstrates clinical knowledge and skills consistent with the standards of practice for a Registered Nurse, solid assessment planning, implementation and evaluation skills in providing person centred care, excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills, commitment to ongoing professional development, infection control and evidence based practice and the ability to work collaboratively within a supportive multidisciplinary team and support Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing. This position is based on a rotating roster across morning, afternoon and night shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
