About Our Client
Our client has an outstanding reputation as being the largest independent steel reinforcement supplier in Australia , with a strong belief in 'family culture ' specialising in the manufacturing and delivery of reinforcement steel for cities, homes, spaces, and communities around Australia.
Work sites located in Northern Suburbs ( Salisbury & Pooraka )
Key Duties :
- Program, set, and operate Reinforcing Machines
- Be confident in Shear line work
- Perform quality checks at every stage of production
- Maintain clean, safe, and efficient machine areas
- Assist with tooling setup and adjustment
- Ensure adherence to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
- Some manual handling and lifting
About you
- Previous experience as as Reinforcing Machine Operator or skills in machine operations / machinist work will be highly regarded .
- Previous experience in Shear Line ( highly regarded)
- Robust communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a physically demanding. environment.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Machinery skills and tickets in Forklift , Combilift , Crane or Loader highly regarded.
