Wakali Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Port Macquarie, NSW. This flexible full‑time or part‑time role offers the prospect to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients while working within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

In this position, you will deliver culturally safe, strengths‑based occupational therapy services and work alongside Aboriginal communities as part of our outreach program. You will participate in regular outreach to Kempsey, as well as six‑weekly outreach clinics in Armidale, Inverell and other regional communities—supporting community‑led goals, strengthening relationships, and improving access to allied health services in rural and remote areas.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify clients' functional abilities, limitations and rehabilitation needs
- Develop, implement and monitor individualised treatment plans tailored to each client's goals and circumstances
- Provide evidence‑based occupational therapy interventions across a range of settings, including clinic‑based and community‑based environments
- Collaborate with clients, families, carers and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and person‑centred care
- Document client progress, maintain accurate records and prepare comprehensive clinical reports
- Contribute to the evaluation and continuous improvement of service delivery and rehabilitation outcomes
- Provide advice and education to clients and carers regarding adaptive strategies, assistive devices and environmental modifications
- Participate in team meetings,
