As a Control Room Officer, you will play a vital role in monitoring and coordinating Unitywater's potable water, recycled water, sewer reticulation, and operational technology networks on a 24/7 basis. You will provide real-time situational awareness, efficiently dispatch reactive maintenance and service requests, support field crews, and contribute to the timely restoration of network services while maintaining compliance with regulatory and safe drinking water requirements.

Working closely with Operations Planning, Field teams, and other stakeholders, you will ensure resources are effectively utilised, customer impacts are minimised, and operational risks are managed. This role requires solid analytical skills, sound judgement under pressure, exceptional communication, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service while upholding Unitywater's values of safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

This is a maximum term role until end of January 2027 with potential for extension, based at our Maroochydore Head Office.

About you:

- Experienced in working within fast-paced, 24/7 operational environments where critical thinking, sound judgement, and timely decision-making are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor operations, prioritise and dispatch work effectively, ensuring customer service standards and operational response times are consistently achieved.
- Strong customer focus with excellent verbal and written communication skills, building positive relationships with internal teams, field staff, contractors, and customers.
- Proficient in using maintenance management and operational systems, including SCADA GIS, CMMS, or similar technologies, while maintaining accurate documentation and records.
- Highly organised and resilient, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, remain calm under pressure, and take ownership of resolving operational issues from start to finish.
- Committed to workplace health and safety, regulatory compliance,



and supporting safe drinking water requirements through adherence to policies, procedures, and best practice.
