The Kakadu Program is based in Jabiru and is a residential, experiential learning program delivered across Kakadu,Katherineand Darwin. It provides young people with structured educational, cultural, and personal development experiences, supported by teaching staff, coaches, outdoor education personnel, and trainees.

Jabiru is a small townshiplocatedin the heart of Kakadu National Park, Northern Territory. Originallyestablishedin the early 1980s to support the Ranger Uranium Mine, Jabiru has evolved into the main service hub for the region.

Jabiru is also a gateway for visitors exploring Kakadu’s cultural and natural attractions, combining aclose-knitcommunity lifestyle with unique access to one of Australia’s most significant natural environments.

The Role

Caulfield Grammar Schoolemphasizesprovidingdiverse domestic and international experiences for secondary students,particularly through theYarraJunction and Kakadu Programs. The KakaduProgram, developed with theMirarrTraditional Ownersand Jabiru Area School, offers a unique blend of Outdoor Education, cultural immersion, and service learning in Kakadu National Park. The program aims to broaden students' perspectives on land use, governance, and indigenous cultures.





Based in Jabiruand reporting to the Deputy Head of Kakadu Program,theKakadu Program Delivery Coordinatortakes an essential role in supportingtheStudent ExperienceTeam by completing and coordinating key tasks in preparationand execution ofprogram delivery.

This role acts as a key conduit of information across the team andperformskey tasksacross;Program Delivery & Communication, Information & Family Management, Services Procurement & Finance Management, Facilities & Equipment Management, Safety & Wellbeing Management.

Thisuniquerole is a12-monthfixed-term contract starting1January 2027with opportunity beyond this.Board and lodgingsas well as meals when programs areoperating,are provided during the period of employment.

Key Duties

- Demonstrate School Values by way of outstanding leadership in and out of work within the Kakadu community
- Role modelpositive and harmoniousinteractionsbetween key local partners and the wider community, students, and the Jabiru team
- Providedetailedadministrative, customer serviceand coordinationservicestosupportKakaduProgramdelivery
- Accuratelycontribute role specific program information onto thecommon communication platformincluding rosters,schedules, facilities,incidentrecordsandstudentinformation
- Arrange purchase orders, manage invoices for paymentand,compile and reconcile receipts




- Liaisewith external partners,serviceprovidersandinternaldepartments within theSchoolto ensure clearprogramcommunicationsand records
- Oversee the maintenance and safety of school facilities, services, and equipment for efficient operation
- Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values andbehaviours.

Skills and Experience

- Demonstrated experiencemanaging daily detailedorganisationalplatforms andimportant functionsin a school or educational setting
- Ability to managefinancial andreconciliation processes for work debit,creditcards,expense management platforms with experience managing the payment of invoices
- Demonstrated competence with Office 365 applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Current Anaphylaxis Management,First AidCertificateand validDriversLicense
- Hold or willing to obtain an Employment WorkingWithChildren Checkand National Police Check
