ABOUT THE CHURCH

JOYFUL CHURCH, a ministry of DISCIPLES CHURCH INCORPORATED, is located in Waterloo, Sydney. We are seeking a dedicated Religious Assistant to support our church leadership and serve our church community with faith, compassion and commitment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the Senior Pastor and church leadership in worship services, preaching and teaching

Assist with pastoral care and spiritual support for church members

Conduct ministry and communicate effectively in Korean

Support Korean- and English-speaking ministries

Assist with Bible studies, prayer meetings and church programs

Participate in community outreach and ministry development

Assist with ministry administration and church events

Work collaboratively with church leaders, volunteers and ministry teams

QUALIFICATIONS The successful applicant must:

Have previous church ministry experience

Hold a Diploma or higher qualification from an accredited theological college or seminary

Have at least three years of ministry experience in an immigrant church setting

Be proficient in Korean and able to conduct ministry in Korean

Be able to communicate and minister effectively in English





Be eligible to meet the applicable Australian visa and sponsorship requirements

Demonstrate Christian character, spiritual maturity and a commitment to serving the church community

Pay: $43,000.00 – $44,000.00 per month
