Who we're looking for

This role offers an experienced loan processor the opportunity to join Mortgage Choice in Hervey Bay and hit the ground running. We're looking for someone who knows the loan process inside out, works with precision and pace, and takes ownership of getting deals to settlement smoothly.

Key attributes required are:

- 2+ years' experience in loan processing, mortgage broking or lending support
- Sound knowledge of the residential home loan process from submission to settlement
- Familiarity with lodgement platforms (e.g. ApplyOnline / NextGen.Net) and broking CRMs
- Solid understanding of lender policies, supporting document requirements and VOI
- Awareness of compliance obligations (NCCP, Best Interests Duty)




- Excellent time management and the ability to manage a busy pipeline of files
- Strong attention to detail and a consistently high standard of accuracy
- Confident, qualified communication with clients, lenders and third parties
- Ability to work autonomously with energy and initiative
- Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking / Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management-essential after 12 months as a requirement for the role

Position overview — the role of an experienced Loan Administrator is:

- Manage client loan applications end-to-end, from submission through to settlement
- Prepare and lodge applications, ensuring files are compliant and complete
- Proactively track and manage the loan submission-to-settlement pipeline
- Liaise confidently with lending teams at every stage — from credit assessors through to funding and settlement teams
- Action key client communication strategies via SMS, email, letter and phone at the right points in the process
- Identify and resolve issues quickly to keep files moving and avoid delays
- Maintain regular, timely contact with clients and third parties to ensure best-in-industry client care
- Support and help mentor junior team members where needed
