Role Type: Part time contract until end of June 2027 (22.8 hours per week)

Salary: $120,880 per annum (pro rata) plus superannuation

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Researcher Officer (Post Doctoral) to lead the expansion of the Victorian Hip Registry (VicHip) into Queensland and South Australia. Working closely with A/Prof Leo Donnan, Dr Natalie Hyde and the broader CORe research team, you will play a pivotal role in establishing new registry sites, building stakeholder relationships and supporting the successful delivery of this important grant-funded initiative.

About the Role

As the Post-Doctoral Researcher, you will coordinate the development of new VicHip sites, supporting regulatory approvals, site implementation and training activities. You will work closely with clinicians, researchers and consumer representatives to ensure the successful expansion of the registry and achievement of project milestones.

What you’ll do

- Leading the expansion of VicHip into Queensland and South Australia
- Reviewing and updating registry documentation to support new sites
- Coordinating ethics and governance approval processes
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with site stakeholders
- Delivering site training and implementation support, including interstate travel
- Supporting grant-funded project planning, delivery and reporting

About You

You are an accomplished researcher with strong project coordination and stakeholder engagement skills. You thrive in collaborative environments and have a passion for translating research into meaningful healthcare outcomes.

What you’ll bring

- A PhD or equivalent doctoral qualification
- At least 3 years' postdoctoral research experience




- A strong publication record and demonstrated research impact
- Experience leading research projects and contributing to successful grant applications
- Proven experience working across multiple sites and organisations
- Experience in clinical research and project coordination
- Experience mentoring and supporting research staff and students
