Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of restaurant technology across KFC. As the owner of our business-critical platforms, you'll drive operational excellence, platform performance and AI-enabled innovation, ensuring our technology remains reliable, scalable and ready to support our restaurants.

This is more than an infrastructure support role. You'll own enterprise platforms supporting almost 900 restaurants across Australia, influencing technology strategy, driving continuous improvement and delivering meaningful business outcomes.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR RESTAURANT INFRASTRUCTURE PLATFORM ENGINEER

On any given day you'll:

- Own a portfolio of business-critical restaurant technology platforms, ensuring they remain reliable, scalable and ready to support our restaurants every day.
- Drive platform reliability, governance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with vendors and cross-functional technology teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Leverage AI and automation to improve operational efficiency, knowledge management and service delivery.
- Define and evolve platform roadmaps, service standards and support models.
- Monitor platform performance and identify opportunities to improve resilience, observability and operational maturity.
- Support the successful transition of new technology into business-as-usual operations.
- Influence technology decisions that improve restaurant performance and customer experience.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone who has:

- 7 years' experience in infrastructure, platform operations, service ownership or enterprise technology.
- Experience managing or supporting business-critical technology platforms.




- Strong technical knowledge across enterprise infrastructure, including networking, cloud, endpoint management, virtualisation and identity services.
- A continuous improvement mindset with experience using automation and AI to improve operational outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical and business teams.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with technology vendors and managed service providers.
- A passion for building reliable, scalable technology that enables business success.
