Security and Alarms Supervisor and Technician

Due to our recent growth andexpansion,we are currentlyseekingan experienced,professional, and dedicatedSecurity Service and Sales Techniciantojoinourteam.
This is a unique hybrid role where you will spend approximately two and a half days each week preparing quotations, following up customers and supporting our sales pipeline, with the remaining two and a half days working onsite delivering service and small project works. It is ideal for someone who enjoys both technical work and helping win new business.

Your key responsibilitiesand day to day dutieswill include:
Prepare accurate and timely quotations for security service, maintenance and installation projects.
Review plans, specifications and site information to determine project scope and pricing.
Follow up quotes with customers & build strong relationships to maximise conversion opportunities.
Provide technical advice and recommend practical security solutions that meet customer needs.
Complete service, maintenance, fault finding and installation works onsite to a high standard.
Prepare accurate job documentation, including scopes of work, drawings and supporting information.
Work closely with the operations team to ensure jobs are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably.
Maintain accurate records and update job information within SimPro and other business systems.
Identify opportunities for additional work and contribute to the continued growth of the business.
Provide prompt, professional and accurate support to customers, management and the wider team.
Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the future growth of the business.
Promote Glenco's values by delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive, team-focused attitude.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills,knowledge,and experience:
Minimum of5years in the security industryrequired
Experience with CCTV, access control, alarms and intercom systems.
Security quoting experience preferred
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
In-depth knowledge of current industry standards
Highcomputer literacy and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
The ability to interpret plans and technical drawings
Strong math, analytical, communication, interpersonal skills are also necessary
Strong attention to detailwith the ability to meet deadlines
SimPro experience would be advantageous
Electrical Licence (preferred)
Strong work ethic with a positive can-do attitude
Highly presentable with the ability to build rapport
