TP Human Capital is seeking experienced Refinery Labourers/Operators for an ongoing work with our large-scale heavy industrial operation client.
This role suits reliable, hard working labourers with operating experience, who are safety-focused and experienced in working in faced-paced, labour intensive environments.
About the Role
You will be responsible for safely operating, monitoring, cleaning and maintaining plant equipment within the electrolysis area to ensure production targets are achieved.
You will need to be fit, able to work in a physically demanding role in a 4/4 roster (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off) for 12.25 hours per shift.
We are offering $52.95 per hour (casual, on-going work, with perm roles for outstanding workers)
Key Duties
- Operate and monitor refinery plant and equipment
- Complete shift logs, check sheets and basic preventative maintenance tasks
- Participate in shift handovers
- Maintain high housekeeping standards
- Identify faults and report maintenance requirements
- Follow lockout procedures and site safety requirements
- Assist during shutdowns, breakdowns and emergency situations
- Contribute to TPM and continuous improvement initiatives
About the Candidate
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transport
- Previous experience in heavy industry or processing plants (highly desirable)
- Experience with preventative maintenance (advantageous)
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Strong commitment to safety
- Basic computer skills
- Reliable and punctual with a solid work ethic
- Ability to work rotating 12.25 hour shifts (2 days / 2 nights)
