RMC Track & Civil is seeking a Graduate Engineer to join our growing Queensland operations. As part of Railtrain Holdings Group (RHG) and the GenusPlus Group, we continue to deliver quality rail infrastructure services across Queensland.
As a Graduate Engineer, you will provide technical and project management support across a range of rail infrastructure projects and operations undertaken by RMC Rail Services. This includes overseeing planning, procurement, implementation, monitoring, and completion of works within scope, budget, and time constraints. As a member of the QLD back-office team, the role ensures RMC Rail Services align with safety, quality, environmental, and commercial requirements
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/Mechanical) or equivalent
- Current RIW card
- White Card / OH&S; Construction Induction Card
- Min 1-2 Years’ Experience in the delivery of Infrastructure projects
- Understanding of Fundamentals of Track / Civil Construction
- A current C Class Drivers Licence
- Knowledge of rail infrastructure construction, maintenance and safety standards, operations and practices as used in the rail and construction industry
Job Responsibilities
Play a key role in supporting Operations team by ensuring compliance with the relevant Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) legislations as well as the enterprise's Safety, Health and Setting (SHE) Standards, assisting with resource planning and tender development and coordinating project and maintenance activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing labour hire work, preparing and submitting pricing responses to client RFQs, and updating the internal work register.
- Support lump sum work preparation and submission to clients RFQs and Tenders.
- Maintaining all internal systems up to date for compliance tracking
- Ensure all resources deployed to site meet compliance requirements (including certifications, inductions and site-specific requirements)
