We are currently seeking experienced Crane Operators to join a major shutdown project at Whitehaven Coal's Blackwater Mine in Central Queensland.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure well-paid shutdown work with a leading mining operation.

Pay Rates

- $55/hr – Ordinary Time
- $70/hr – Time & a Half
- $82/hr – Double Time

Weekly earning potential over $5,700

About the Role





You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of cranes during a planned mine shutdown, assisting with maintenance, repairs, and shutdown works across site.

Requirements

- Current Standard 11 / Generic Coal Induction
- Current Coal Board Medical (or ability to obtain)
- Relevant Crane Licence (CN or CO)
- Current White Card
- Current Blue Card
- Previous mining, shutdown, construction, or heavy industry experience preferred
- Whitehaven Site Induction highly regarded
