Fire Doors Plus Commercial Doors PTY LTD is looking for a reliable, practical, and motivated Site Services Person to join our commercial doors and fire door team. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in fire doors, passive fire, carpentry, construction, maintenance, or building services who wants to build a long-term career in a specialist industry.

About the Role

Based in Brisbane, this role involves travelling to client sites across the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Toowoomba, and surrounding areas to machine measure fire doors and flush panel doors, carry out fire door certification inspections, support the factory with on-site door repairs and warranty issues. You will be part of a professional team delivering compliant, high-quality work across commercial, residential, and building services environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out fire door certification inspections and associated record keeping.
- Complete door site measures using machine measuring equipment.
- Carry out warranty inspection as required by the manufacturing division.
- Carry out on-site repair as directed by manufacturing division.
- Record additional job details, measurements, photos, and completed works using a phone, tablet, or job management system.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area on all sites.
- Communicate professionally with clients, builders, building managers, supervisors, and team members.
- Follow workplace health and safety requirements, site procedures, and company policies.

What We’re Looking For

- Experience in fire doors, passive fire, carpentry, construction, maintenance,



or building services is preferred.
- Fire door certification licence holder would be an advantage.
- Trade background or strong practical skills will be highly regarded.
- Ability to complete accurate site measures and follow clear job instructions.
- Current driver licence and willingness to travel to sites as required.
- White Card or willingness to obtain one.
- Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, well-presented, and safety focused.
- Comfortable using a phone or tablet for job records, photos, and reporting.
