We're looking for a mechanic who takes pride in their work and is looking to join a stable, supportive team.

Previous forklift experience is NOT essential.

If you're a qualified Automotive, Diesel, Heavy Vehicle, Agricultural or Plant Mechanic but you've never worked on forklifts before, don't let that stop you applying. Many of our skills are transferable from automotive, diesel, agricultural and heavy vehicle industries, and we will provide the training required to succeed.

What We Offer

- $40-$47 per hour + Super (depending on experience)
- Fully equipped service vehicle
- Monday to Friday only
- 7:00am to 3:30pm (with flexibility available for the right applicant)

About the Role

Working alongside our Workshop Foreman and reporting to the General Manager, you'll service,



repair and maintain a diverse range of materials handling equipment for customers throughout the Goulburn Valley.

You’ll enjoy a combination of workshop and field service work, meaning every day offers something different.

- Reach trucks
- Tractors
- Industrial sweepers and scrubbers
- Other specialised materials handling equipment

Your duties will include:

- Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Mechanical repairs and fault diagnosis
- Hydraulic and electrical repairs
- Engine, brake, steering and cooling system repairs
- Battery maintenance and charging systems
- Completing job cards and service reports
- Providing friendly, qualified customer service

About You

We're looking for someone who:

- Is trade qualified (or has relevant industry experience)
- Takes pride in producing quality workmanship
- Enjoys solving mechanical problems
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Holds a current driver's licence
- Has a positive attitude and is keen to learn
- A forklift licence is preferred but not essential.
