We are looking for an Internal communications specialistto amplify the voice of the organisation internally and occasionally externally, with multipleexciting projects underway you will have the opportunity make an impact on the business with your flair for writingand communication. Description
- Write, review, edit and/or publish content across a range of internal and external communication channels.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders across the organisation to share stories, services and programs.
- Provide advice and guidance on messaging, organisational and reputationrisks, timing and channels.
- Track and report on communication activities to inform future decision making.
- Work collaboratively with the Fundraising, Marketing and Engagement teams to support fundraising and marketing campaigns and activity.
- Review and provide guidance on content to ensure alignment withwith brand standards and tone of voice.
- Support the monitoring of media and social media coverage to identify opportunities, risks and issues.
- Support the planning, coordination and delivery of select key organisational events, as required.
- Execute internal communication strategies and action plans for projects, campaigns and initiatives.
- Manage and maintain staff communication channels, including the intranet, to ensure content is current, accurate and engaging.
Profile
You will have a background in internal comms,and having been aligned to NFP, health or government would be highly beneficial and desirable. You are empatheticto the needs of the disability community and have a writingstyle that will reflectthis in your communication. We are looking for someone very hands on who can hit the groundrunning bringing creativity, sensitivityand passion to contribute to a greater good within a NFP environment. It goes without saying that exceptional writingskills and attention to detail are a must for the role. If you have a back ground in or have studied journalismthis will be favourablywelcome in the role.
