Formwork Inventory Coordinator/Yard person - Civil Construction

Their fleet of cranes, concrete pump trucks, telehandlers and support vehicles plays a critical role on major infrastructure and commercial projects throughout Melbourne and Victoria.

Due to continued growth, they're looking for an experienced Formwork Inventory Coordinator/Yard person to join the team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety. One day you'll be preparing Formwork equipment for site mobilisation ensuring it's ready for delivery to Tier 1 project sites, the next you'll be updating the stock/inventory register and organizing the yard for optimum efficiency.

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring all Formwork equipment and associated equipment are site-ready before they leave for project sites. This role calls for a Inventory Coordinator/Yardsperson who'll take ownership and pride of yard operations.





Your responsibilities will include:

- Manage and maintain formwork inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels at all times.
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, inspection, and dispatch of formwork materials and equipment.
- Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts and other yard equipment.
- Conduct regular stocktakes and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Inspect formwork components for damage and arrange repairs or replacements as required.
- Prepare and stage materials for upcoming project deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and protected yard environment.
- Coordinate deliveries and collections with project teams, suppliers, and transport providers.
- Record inventory movements using company systems and complete relevant documentation.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with general yard duties and support operational requirements as needed.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Reliable, motivated, and takes pride in keeping an organised yard.
- Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or inventory role within civil construction, formwork, or the construction industry.
- Knowledge of formwork systems and construction materials (preferred).
- Current Forklift License (LF) - Essential.
- Current Driver's License, HR Truck License - Highly Regarded.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work.
- Good attention to detail and accurate record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
- Australian Citizen or PR - Essential.
