About the Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Lead Workforce Risk – Employment Compliance to join our Talent Enablement Leadership Team.
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping and governing employment compliance frameworks across our contingent workforce solutions. You'll ensure compliance is embedded into workforce design from the outset, supporting PAYG employees, ABN/Company contractors and workforce engagement models across Australia.
Reporting to the VP Talent Supply & Enablement and working closely with Legal,
Operational Design and delivery Functions and senior business leaders, you'll provide expert advice on employment legislation, industrial relations, worker classification, regulatory risk and workforce compliance.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead employment compliance, industrial relations and workforce governance across Australia for our Contingent Contractor Workforce.
- Develop and maintain employment compliance frameworks covering the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards and National Employment Standards (NES).
- Provide expert advice on worker classification, contractor engagement models (PAYG, ABN and Company), co-employment risk and workforce compliance.
- Partner with operational teams to ensure compliance is embedded into workforce design and mobilisation.
- Lead compliance assessments for new workforce programs before implementation.
- Oversee wage integrity, employment obligations and regulatory compliance.
- Provide governance for performance, conduct and employment frameworks.
- Lead compliance audits, investigations and regulatory assurance activities.
- Support commercial teams with employment compliance advice for customer solutions and tenders.
- Monitor legislative changes and drive continuous improvement across workforce compliance.
About You
You'll bring:
- Degree qualified or equivalent professional experience in Human Resources, Workforce Relations,
Employment Law, Risk, WHS or a related field
- Significant experience in Employment Compliance, Workplace Relations, Industrial Relations, Workforce Risk or HR Compliance.
- Robust knowledge of the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, National Employment Standards and contractor engagement models.
- Experience working within MSP, contingent workforce, labour hire or other highly regulated environments.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret legislation and translate complex compliance requirements into practical business solutions.
- Experience managing compliance frameworks, audits, governance and regulatory risk.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and customers.
- Excellent judgement, commercial awareness and problem-solving capability.
Highly Regarded
- Exposure to workforce design, mobilisation or large-scale workforce programs.
- Professional accreditation in Workplace Relations, Employment Law, Risk or Compliance.
