We currently seeking an experienced Plant Operator with an HR truck licence to join a road construction crew based at Narrandera. Applicants ideally will have experience with water carts, rollers and loaders.

The crew is attached to a depot at Narrandera, but working on a project located at Tocumwal initially. Applicants would report to the depot at Narrandera at the start of the week's work, then travel with the crew to Tocumwal - staying there during the week. Accommodation is provided and relevant allowances paid whilst working away.

Applicants based in the Tocumwal area are also encouraged to apply for this role, with the arrangement of meeting up with the crew once they arrive in the area for each week's work. You would then be required to be available to travel/camp for work once the crew heads back towards the Narrandera zone for future work.

Applicants will need a confident level of driving experience in HR trucks and also have plant operating experience with water carts, rollers and loaders.

Starting in early September, this role will involve working full time hours of work for an initial period of approximately 4 months until Christmas, with genuine potential of further work available for positive quality workers. An attractive hourly pay rate is being offered,



including overtime penalty rates and allowances for additional hours of work.

Daily work duties will include driving HR trucks around the job site for the movement of materials, loading trucks, towing trailers; plant operating and also manual labouring with the works crew.

Successful Applicants will need;

- current WHS White Card - essential

- Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain (online link able to be provided for successful applicant)

- HR driver licence - essential

- Plant operating skills and hours - roller, loader, water cart
- traffic control tickets - or willingness to obtain
- previous experience with road construction/maintenance will be highly regarded
- fit for manual work tasks as required
- willingness to undertake police record check

Applicants will need to be fit for physically demanding work, and be a genuine team player with a willingness to undertake manual labour as well as the truck driving and plant operator duties.
