Roller Door Technician / Mechanical Fitter / Boilermaker

Roster: Monday to Friday (occasional weekends as required)

Location: Karratha, WA - Travel throughout the Pilbara

About the Role

Category 5 Labour Management is seeking an experienced Roller Door Technician, Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker on behalf of our client based in Karratha. This hands-on role involves installing, servicing and maintaining industrial roller doors, shutters and automated access systems across mining, industrial, commercial and residential sites.

You'll work both locally and remotely throughout the Pilbara, with approximately 65-75% of your time spent travelling to major client sites including Rio Tinto, Fortescue, BHP, Woodside and Mineral Resources.

Skills & Experience

- Mechanical trade or relevant maintenance experience
- Current C Class Driver's Licence & White Card
- Current Working at Heights ticket
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding ability
- Ability to travel and work away throughout the Pilbara

Duties & Responsibilities

- Install and service industrial roller doors and shutters
- Complete fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance
- Work safely at heights using EWPs and scissor lifts




- Use hand and power tools to complete quality installations
- Maintain high safety standards across all client sites
