De Groot Roof Painting is a fourth-generation family business. We've been painting roofs across Victoria and Tasmania since 2011: iron, tile and asbestos roofs to start with, and now general painting, interiors and exteriors, epoxy floors and commercial work.

We're hiring two full-time on-site team members based in Bendigo: a roof tiler and a skilled labourer to upskill into roof painting, roof restoration and general painting. Roof painters with relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.

What the work actually looks like

- Prep, mask, and spray.

- Following a step-by-step process that already works, so you're not guessing.

- Talking to homeowners, keeping them updated, and checking your own work before you leave.

- Small crews who care about the finish.

- Based in Central Victoria, expect regular regional travel across Victoria where the work is,



with accommodation and meals paid when required.

- Most work will be in Bendigo and regional Victoria, with overnight travel when required, not living out of a suitcase permanently.

What you'll need

- Experience in roof painting, roof tiling, general painting or a related trade is helpful. Skilled labourers with a strong work ethic who want to upskill are encouraged to apply.

- Comfortable working at heights: we'll help you get your Working at Heights ticket if you don't have one

- White or green card, or willing to get one

- Clean driver's licence

- Attention to detail, and the work ethic to match

- Your own truck, tools or equipment: we provide everything
- To chase payments or deal with subcontractor hassles
- To wonder where the next job is coming from
