Help prepare Birch & Waite's newest site for launch

12-month contract At Birch & Waite, we don't just make chef-quality sauces, dressings, mayonnaise and desserts. We create products that help Australians make everyday meals extraordinary. As we prepare to bring our current Villawood facility online in the first quarter of next year, we're looking for a Safety Consultant to lead safety readiness for the site ahead of the move.

We're looking for someone who can take our existing safety standards and translate them into a new site, working through risk assessments, commissioning checks and readiness planning to make sure Villawood is safe and compliant from the day operations begin. You'll combine technical safety expertise with hands-on delivery, working closely with operations and project teams to get the new site ready, while keeping our current sites running safely in the meantime. This role is currently based across our Marrickville and Revesby sites, with a focus on preparing Villawood for a safe move-in in Q1 next year.

You'll be responsible for

Leading safety readiness planning and preparation for the new Villawood site ahead of move-in

Conducting risk assessments, hazard identification and safety audits as part of commissioning

Developing and adapting safety systems, procedures and training for the new site

Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and standards prior to occupation

Partnering with project, operations and construction teams throughout the transition





Supporting the rollout of established safety systems from Marrickville and Revesby into Villawood
