We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Fence Maintenance Officer to join our Border Fence Maintenance team.
In this role, you’ll help keep one of NSW’s most significant regional assets in top condition by carrying out repairs and maintenance along the Border Fence — ensuring it remains secure and dog proof at all times.
You’ll work using a range of tools, vehicles, and machinery to complete maintenance work safely and effectively.
What You’ll Be Doing
Carry out fence maintenance, repairs, and associated works to maintain fence integrity.
Participate in team operations with other staff and contractors.
Undertake maintenance tasks involving the protected use of tools, plant, and equipment.
Maintain compliance with workplace safety, quality, and environmental standards.
What We’re Looking For
Practical experience in general maintenance, fencing, or rural operations.
Ability to work safely and efficiently in remote outdoor conditions.
Sound knowledge of hand and power tools, and safe machinery use.
Good problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently
Commitment to Workplace Health and Safety principles.
