About the role
Due to continued growth, Reach to Care is seeking compassionate and reliable Assistant in Nursing (AINs), Enrolled Nurses (ENs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and Disability Support Workers to join our expanding team.
These roles involve supporting NDIS participants with a variety of physical, psychosocial, neurological, and intellectual disabilities. You will assist participants to live as independently as possible while helping them achieve their individual goals in a safe, respectful, and person-centred manner.
We have a range of casual, part time and full-time opportunities available for suitable candidates.
What you'll be doing
Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
Providing social and emotional support, engaging clients in meaningful activities, and fostering social connections
Working collaboratively with families, allied health professionals, coordinators, and the wider Reach to Care team
Documenting client progress and maintaining detailed records in accordance with organisational policies
Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and quality standards to ensure the wellbeing of clients
What we're looking for
Qualifications as an AIN, EN, RN, or experience as a Disability Support Worker with a demonstrated understanding of the unique needs of people with psychosocial and physical disabilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide compassionate care
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, sleepovers, and public holidays where required.
Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate the diverse needs and preferences of clients
A caring, empathetic, and positive approach to working with vulnerable individuals
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
Current Australian Driver Licence.
Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance (preferred).
Relevant qualifications for your role (or willingness to undertake required training).
