Supervisor/Junior Manager - Leading Firm with Flexible Working

My client is a modern, well-established accounting firm with 3 Directors, 5 Managers, and a team of 20+ professionals, supported by an established offshore team. Following a recent office relocation to brand-new premises and the acquisition of an additional parcel of client fees, the firm is continuing to expand and is looking to strengthen its Business Services team with an experienced Senior Accountant who is looking to step up, or a Supervisor/Assistant Manager.

This role has been created to support one of the firm's highest-performing Managers, who is responsible for a portfolio at approximately $2.5 million in annual fees (has a team of 5 + offshore supporting him). With continued growth, the team is looking for a capable second-in-command who can operate independently, take ownership of compliance delivery, and help oversee workflow across the team. Initially, you'll work closely with the Manager while becoming a key technical resource for the team. From here,



there will be the prospect to take on your own client portfolio and continue progressing your career within the firm.

One of the firm's biggest points of difference is its genuine flexibility. Team members have the freedom to work their hours anytime between 7:00am and 7:00pm, without fixed start or finish times or unnecessary micromanagement. The team also comes together in the office on Wednesdays, creating a collaborative culture while maintaining flexibility throughout the week. Most of the team work from home up to 3 days per week.

The business also invests in quality systems and technology, including Xero, BGL, FuseSign, and other leading cloud-based platforms.

The ideal candidate will possess:

Minimum of 5 years’ Business Services / Practice experience

Completion of CA/CPA qualifications

Experience working with a broad range of clients across different industries

Strong communication skills and proven client facing abilities

Experience coordinating workflow, reviewing work and training others (in the office or with an offshore team)
