The Role

Reporting to the Senior Estimator, you'll be responsible for preparing competitive and accurate tenders for a diverse range of industrial electrical projects.





You will play a critical role in securing recent work, maintaining client relationships and ensuring successful project handovers to delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for industrial electrical projects.
- Interpret specifications, drawings and technical documentation.
- Develop accurate labour, material and subcontractor pricing.
- Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Coordinate tender reviews with operational leaders and project managers.
- Identify risks, opportunities and value-engineering initiatives within tenders.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- Follow up tender submissions and gather market intelligence and feedback.
- Support successful project handovers to project management teams.
- Maintain estimating databases and continuously improve estimating processes.
- Contribute to developing a strong pipeline of secured work for the Industrial division.

What We're Looking For

- Demonstrated experience as an Electrical Estimator within the construction, industrial or electrical contracting sector.
- Strong understanding of industrial electrical installations and project delivery.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, specifications and tender documentation.




- Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Highly Regarded
- A Grade Electrical Licence.
- Trade background as an electrician.
- Experience with industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, water infrastructure, food processing or defence projects.
- Experience using estimating software.
- Exposure to project management, scheduling or contract administration.
