Afrimat Ash Resources, based in Lyttelton , has a vacancy for a:

Sales Consultant

Minimum Qualifications / Experience

- Minimum Grade 12
- National Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Commerce or related field will be advantageous
- Minimum 8–10 years' proven external sales experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in construction materials, cement, aggregates, ash resources, mining or related heavy industry
- Experience negotiating commercial agreements and pricing. Experience managing large customer portfolios and strategic accounts
- Ability to work under pressure
- Valuable leadership and communication skills
- Medically fit in terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act

Duties And Responsibilities (not Limited To)

- Sales Growth & Business Development: Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities to achieve sustainable revenue growth. Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales, margin and volume targets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key customers. Understand customer businesses,



operational requirements and future opportunities.
- Pricing & Commercial Management: Implement approved pricing strategies. Monitor pricing compliance while protecting margins.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, pricing, market trends and industry developments. Maintain an understanding of customer projects, pipeline opportunities and industry developments.
- Sales Planning & Reporting: Develop annual and quarterly sales plans for allocated accounts.
- Operational & Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Logistics, Finance and Customer Services to ensure customer requirements are met.
