The Outperformer is looking for an experienced Sales Consultant to help ambitious SME owners take the first step towards building a stronger, more valuable and less owner-dependent business.

You will be responsible for facilitating our diagnostic process which is a pivotal part of our methodology.

This is a consultative sales role, not a high-volume call-centre position. You will speak with established business owners, understand where they want to take the business, identify what is currently getting in the way and determine whether a Diagnostic is the right next step.

The conversations are commercial, practical and often significant. Our clients are usually capable business owners who have built something real, but are facing constraints around growth, team performance, profitability, structure or owner dependence.

What you will do

- Conduct structured sales conversations with business owners
- Understand their commercial goals, personal ambitions and current business challenges
- Qualify urgency, decision-making authority, investment capacity and readiness for change
- Position the Diagnostic clearly as a valuable standalone first step
- Manage follow-up, objections and decision-maker alignment
- Keep every active opportunity moving with a clear next action
- Maintain accurate CRM records, within GHL with notes and forecasts
- Convert suitable opportunities into paid Diagnostics
- Provide clear, useful handovers to the advisory team

- Consistent achievement of monthly Diagnostic targets
- Strong conversion from qualified opportunity to paid client
- Accurate forecasting and disciplined follow-up
- Clear, complete CRM records
- High attendance and low drop-off across the sales journey
- High-quality clients entering the Diagnostic process with the right expectations
- A sales pipeline that is visible,

What we are looking for You will likely have experience selling consulting, advisory, coaching, professional services or another considered B2B offering. You will be:

- Confident speaking with founders, directors and business owners
- Commercially minded and genuinely curious
- Strong at listening, questioning and closing
- Comfortable discussing investment and asking for a decision
- Able to challenge a prospect without becoming aggressive
- Organised, accountable and disciplined with CRM
- Clear and concise in both verbal and written communication
- Coachable and willing to follow a defined sales process
- Capable of balancing relationship-building with commercial accountability
