Expression of Interest – Customer Care Specialist

We're always on the lookout for passionate, customer-focused people to join our Centralised Customer Care Team based at our Virginia Support Office.

The Opportunity

As a Customer Care Specialist, you'll support multiple clubs across our network by managing membership cancellations, debt recovery and account enquiries. You'll play a key role in retaining members by delivering exceptional customer service, resolving account issues and helping members stay connected to their fitness journey.





What You'll Do

Member Retention

- Handle membership cancellation requests professionally and explore solutions to retain members.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while resolving enquiries and recording valuable member feedback.
- Work towards retention KPIs and contribute ideas to improve the overall member experience.

Debt Collection & Account Management

- Contact members regarding overdue accounts via phone, email and SMS.
- Negotiate payment arrangements, update account information and process payments.
- Liaise with billing providers and collection agencies while maintaining excellent member relationships.
- Achieve debt recovery KPIs through proactive account management.

What You'll Need to Succeed

- 1–2 years' experience in debt collection, customer service or a call centre environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Confidence handling difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism.
- Experience using CRM or member management systems is highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet KPIs.
- Australian working rights.
